Noise Girl's Jewelry Is Made Of Nuts (Those Hole-y Oblong Donut Things From The Hardware Store)

Blogger and designer Chelsea Van Houten knows a thing or two about accessorizing well—she runs the popular nail art blog and designs a line of jewelry called Noise Girl, which consists of bright and colorful necklaces and bracelets made of... wait for it... nuts. No, not nuts as in pea, cashew, or pine, but nuts as in nuts and bolts—those oblong hole-y screw-y donut-y shaped things from the hardware store.

When I first saw Chelsea's pieces (my friend Susie was wearing a Noise Girl double-strand bracelet, $50), I thought it was pretty cool—even before I knew what it was made of.

Chelsea's pieces start at $50 for bracelets, rise to $70 for necklaces and wrap bracelets, and her most expensive pieces are $140 and incorporate brass and zinc.
Which Noise Girl bracelets and necklaces do you like best? I love the idea of repurposing everyday objects into durable, wearable, cool accessories.
